D&D Achieves $1,000,000 Settlement for Car Accident Case

Darrigo & Diaz represented a Tampa couple who were the victims of a reckless driver in North Carolina. There were several vehicles involved in this crash, which was caused by a DUI  driver; his alcohol level was double the legal limits. Initially, the clients did not seem to have serious injuries. However, both of them later developed substantial injuries resulting from the impact.

The husband, a veteran, underwent subsequent shoulder surgery due to the injuries sustained in this auto accident. The wife had a fracture and injuries to her knee and hip which resulted in extensive medical treatment and ultimately surgery. In addition, one of the clients suffered mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) which caused vertigo, dizziness, loss of hearing, and balance problems. She was diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome.
